Do not miss
Fox News host Pete Hegseth made a surprising admission on-air Sunday: He hasn’t washed his hands in ten years because “germs are not a real thing.”
Upon returning from a commercial break, Fox & Friends co-host Jedediah Bila revealed that Hegseth had been snacking on slices of pizza that were left sitting on the set from the previous day.
“Just for viewers to know, this is yesterday’s pizza that he’s just pulling out from under – it’s not even fresh,” Bila explained to viewers.
“Yesterday was National Pizza Day, which means it’s National Pizza weekend, which means Pizza Hut lasts for a long time,” Hegseth said in his own defense.
“He ate Pizza Hut yesterday and raw dough, so basically anything that’s not nailed down, you gotta take the mugs off the table, he might take a chomp out of that,” Bila added.
“As I told you, my 2019 resolution is to say things on air that I say off air. I don’t think I’ve washed my hands for 10 years. Really, I don’t really wash my hands ever,” Hegseth admitted, as his co-hosts laughed.
“I inoculate myself,” he added. “Germs are not a real thing. I can’t see them. Therefore, they’re not real.”
“So you’re becoming immune to all of the bacteria,” Bila quipped.
“Exactly, I can’t get sick,” Hegseth replied.
“These hands look pretty clean to me,” he added, showing off his hands.
